Further to the announcements of 18 January 2005 and 26 November 2004, the Company is pleased to announce that the High Court of Malaya in Penang had on 1 December 2005 sanctioned the write-off of the Company's goodwill of RM64,848,221 against its share premium account under Section 64 of the Companies Act, 1965.

The sanction will allow the Company to write-off the goodwill arising from its acquisition of the entire equity interest in Malaysian Rock Products Sdn Bhd from IJM Corporation Berhad which was completed on 18 January 2005.
